Veteran actress Youn Yuh Jung has received a nomination at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards.
On July 8 (local time), Youn Yuh Jung was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her performance in Netflix's Beef 2.
In the series, Youn Yuh Jung plays Chairwoman Park, a powerful Korean billionaire whose life becomes intertwined with a young couple after they witness a shocking confrontation at an exclusive country club.
Beef 2 also received an impressive 16 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, Lead Actor, Lead Actress, Supporting Actor, Directing, and Writing.
The nomination adds another milestone to Youn Yuh Jung's legendary career. In 2021, she made history as the first Korean actress to win an Academy Award for her performance in Minari.
The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
