BLACKPINK’s Lisa is preparing to release her highly anticipated new solo single, SaWaDiKa, on September 3, 2026. The song will serve as a pre-release track for her upcoming six-track EP, PRESS PLAY, which is scheduled to arrive on October 23, 2026.
The title SaWaDiKa is inspired by “Sawasdee ka” (สวัสดีค่ะ), a polite Thai greeting traditionally used by women. The upcoming release appears to be a celebration of Lisa’s Thai roots and identity. Promotional teasers have already caught fans’ attention with powerful visuals inspired by Thailand. Lisa has been seen sporting ultra-long black hair while posing on a traditional Thai tuk-tuk.
She also wears an outfit featuring shorts inspired by Muay Thai boxing gear, further highlighting the cultural influences behind the project. “SaWaDiKa” reportedly has a runtime of 3 minutes and 8 seconds on Spotify.
With its Thai-inspired concept and striking visuals, the single is expected to introduce a new side of Lisa’s solo artistry.
