tvN has officially confirmed that The Village Barber will return for a second season this November, with Park Bo Gum, Lee Sang Yi, and new cast member Ko Kyung Pyo.

On July 13, tvN announced that The Village Barber 2 will premiere in November 2026. The new season is expected to begin filming at the end of August.

Ko Kyung Pyo Joins Season 2

Season 1 featured Park Bo Gum, Lee Sang Yi, and Kwak Dong Yeon running a barbershop in a quiet rural village. While Kwak Dong Yeon will not return for the new season, Ko Kyung Pyo will join the cast.

Park Bo Gum and Ko Kyung Pyo have been close friends for more than a decade after starring together in Naeil's Cantabile and Reply 1988, raising anticipation for their on-screen chemistry in the upcoming season.

The Village Barber is a healing variety show where the cast runs a barbershop in a remote countryside village, meeting local residents, listening to their stories, and creating heartfelt memories through haircuts and conversations.
