Actors Park Seo Jun and Park Hae Il are reportedly set to star in director Lee Jun Ik's upcoming period film, currently titled I Am a Firefly.
Set during South Korea's military dictatorship in the 1970s, the film follows a detective investigating a major case who uncovers hidden secrets within a village. As he searches for the truth, he becomes entangled with a mysterious elderly man who appears to be concealing memories from the past.
According to reports, filming is expected to begin in October. The production is also said to be considering changing the film's title from I Am a Firefly to The Age of Barbarism.
