IU and Lee Jong Suk have officially ended their relationship after four years together.
On July 10, IU's agency EDAM Entertainment and Lee Jong Suk's agency ACE FACTORY confirmed the breakup, stating, "It is true that they broke up." Both agencies added that the two have decided to remain good colleagues.
IU and Lee Jong Suk first met in 2012 while serving as co-hosts on the music program Inkigayo. After maintaining a close friendship for nearly a decade, they publicly confirmed their relationship in late 2022.
The couple's breakup comes after four years of dating.
Meanwhile, IU is preparing for her new album and upcoming concert, while Lee Jong Suk is getting ready for the release of his new drama The Remarried Empress.
