I.O.I has achieved a major milestone, earning a triple crown on Show! Music Core with their reunion song Suddenly.
On July 4, member Jung Chae Yeon shared a photo of the members celebrating together while holding their first-place trophy and a cake.
The group had originally gathered at Show! Music Core to support Choi Yoo Jung's solo comeback, but ended up celebrating another group achievement after Suddenly won first place.
The victory marked the song's third win on the program, following previous wins on June 13 and June 27, officially giving I.O.I a triple crown.
Choi Yoo Jung accepted the trophy on behalf of the group, while eight members reunited on stage for the encore performance. Yoo Yeon Jung was unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts.
I.O.I reunited earlier this year to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary and has been actively promoting ever since.
