On July 14, NEWS1, a media outlet reported that Tzuyu would be leaving JYP Entertainment after spending 11 years with the agency. The report added that she is expected to continue participating in TWICE's group activities even if she parts ways with the company.
In response to the report, JYP Entertainment stated, "TWICE is currently in the period of discussing contract renewals, and we will inform you as soon as matters are finalized."
The agency neither confirmed nor denied the report, explaining that discussions regarding the members' contracts are still ongoing.
