Kong Hyo Jin and the cast of MBC’s upcoming drama A Bona fide Killer participated in their first script reading session. The action drama explores the life of a working mother with a dangerous profession. Director Yoon Jong Ho and writer Kim Eun Hee also attended the reading, alongside Jung Jun Won, Lee Sang Yi, and Sung Dong Il. Kong Hyo Jin portrays Yu Bo Na, a manager at Durumi Electronics and a skilled sniper known as “Kingfisher.” She reflects on her dual role as a housewife and a killer. She expressed her commitment to making A Bona fide Killer a series that resonates with viewers.
Jung Jun Won takes on the role of Kwon Tae Sung, Yu Bo Na’s husband and a principled investigative reporter.
Lee Sang Yi plays Lieutenant Lee Dong Jin, a tenacious detective pursuing Kingfisher. He highlighted the evolving relationship between his character and Kingfisher.
Sung Dong Il portrays Kim Bong Pal, the head of Sales Team 3 at Durumi Electronics, who is skilled in creating accidental deaths.
